Thrifted is a mixed media video piece with themes of sustainability showing how art can be repurposed.The goal is to encourage recycling and reusing through a collage focused on digital typography. Each element in the video, including the butterfly, was sourced from books and magazines purchased at a local thrift store, to be then cut into pieces and animated in Adobe After Effects. (Examples of paper scraps used below)
